The name

Why “Plexor”?

“Plex” is the root of plexus and multiplex— an interwoven network. It's the tangle of machines, sensors, and control systems that a plant already is.

“-or” is the ending we give to a thing that acts — a reactor, a conductor. Not a record of what happened, but an agent that does something about it.

Put them together and you have Plexor: the engine that weaves every machine, sensor, and controller into one intelligent network — and acts on it.

The industry default is to ship plant data to someone else's cloud to make it useful. We think that's backwards. Your process data is sensitive, valuable, and yours — and modern AI no longer needs to leave the building to be powerful.
